Megalodon - Exhibit Ad

Below is an ad I created for The Megalodon Exhibit. I decided to play on the "deer crossing" sign. To enhance my concept I provided a visual of a beautiful dock leading to the sea. "Sharp Teeth Beyond This Point" is meant to almost make you think just what might be out in that water. The purpose behind the ad is also to emphasize that the exhibit is as realistic as being right on that dock and this enhances the experience. While creating the ad I wanted to keep it simple, easy to identify and visually appealing. The colours are very pleasant and easy on the eyes. The caution sign is very straight forward getting right to the point with no words necessary and generates curiosity in the viewer. This ad I believe is a unique approach of showing a shark because let's face it we've seen enough of the huge jaws and destroying chomps! Time for a change getting away from the cliches! This is also less threatening to children as an image to attract families that go to the ROM.
